So many of you showed off your trivia skills with our teaser game yesterday! That’s right, friends, we’ll be headed back to the Midwest in 2013. We hope you’re excited to meet us in the Twin Cities this September 13-15!
Here’s a bit behind the clues of the #HLS13: Guess Where? Game
There’s a first time for everything, and this year HLS will be visiting this location for the very first time.
We’ve been to Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and back to Boston; this year, we’re heading to a new spot on the map – the Twin Cities!
The Major League Baseball team from this city received a new stadium in a year in which we were already gathering together for Summits.
Target Field, home of the Minnestoa Twins, was built in 2010.
While we’re together, we might go on a excursion to one gigantic mall.
Anyone else imagine Robin Sparkles when thinking about the Mall of America, the largest mall in all of – you guessed it- America?
If the weather is crummy, we will probably be able to get where we need to go with all the skyways offered here.
The Minneapolis Skyway System is the largest continuous network of skyways in the world.
Don’t worry about getting your workouts in on Summit weekend: there are plenty of lakes to walk, jog, skate or bike around.
The Minnesota state nickname is “The Land of 10,000 Lakes.” It even says “10,000 Lakes” on the Minnesota License Plate!
We know we will get plenty of fruit in at #HLS13 – there’s one cherry big enough for us all to share!
Spoonbridge and Cherry is a well known fountain sculpture in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
You’re gonna make it after all!
The wonderful television series, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, was set in Minneapolis. And there’s a statue at the corner of the Nicollet Pedestrian Mall to celebrate it. [Photo op!]
special thanks to our friends Lynne, Kayla, Megan, and Melissa for the use of some of their photos in this post!

Wooooo hooooo! Best state in the world! Yeahhhhhhhhhh Minnesota!
So excited! I went to summer camp in northern Minnesota, but I’ve only visited the city once. I have a picture of myself in front of that giant cherry too!
I’m so excited!!! I’m interviewing for a job that might not be too pleased I would have to miss Friday, but I’m going to work it out because I can’t even fathom missing this!
One of my goals for this year is to attend a Blogger Conference, this one looks great and I would love to visit Minnesota too!
I was so excited to hear about this conference because it’s driving distance from Chicago but so sad and really disappointed that it’s during one of the major Jewish holidays of Yom Kippur. Really poor planning. Such a disappointment and unfair
This pretty far from Texas, but I want to attend this blogger conference more than any other. Hopefully, I can make it happen!!
I’m a bit obsessed with Mary Tyler Moore, so I am hoping to make it this year…although I don’t think I’ll be able to part with my baby!
I am so excited!! I live in Wisconsin so I’m thrilled that it’s so close! Can’t wait for sign up!
As a Twin Cities resident, I’m super excited that the Summit is coming here!
I just recently started blogging and would love to come since it would be my first time. I really wanted to go to the one in Chicago, since that’s where I live but I missed out and tickets were sold out. Can’t wait till all the rest of the information is up and I can try to come this year.
Super excited for this!! It’ll be my first HLS, and I can’t wait to meet all of y’all!
Ahhh this sounds like a blast and like an amazing conference! I’m a new blogger and really want to go to a blogging conference. This one would be a great fit
hopefully things work out where I can go.
This sounds so awesome. I’m also a new blogger ready to share my wisdom and take in all that I can. I hope to make it to this!
